We envision Dinosaur Stadium to be the home of minor and high school football in Calgary, where future Dinos come to develop and allow the game to grow at a grassroots level

Since our last update we have made significant strides to finalize a new on-campus Dino Community Stadium facility. This has been a vision for over six decades! I am excited to hear about the progress and the potential this will have for Dino athletics and the community.

To date our combined fundraising efforts have generated just over $12.5 million in funding commitments with more presentations on deck over the next six weeks.
The Dino Community Stadium will be a place for the campus and community to cheer on the Dinos and a place to play and call HOME.
This on-campus stadium opportunity needs to be built as soon as possible before the land is turned into more residential housing.
The time is now.
The Dino Community Stadium will cost between $40 -$45 million, priced in September 2024, including a Winter Dome Structure. We are very confident that the project will break ground once we have 60% of the Stadium costs committed ($24-$27 million) and the turnaround will be within 18 months.
It is important to note that the full land costs will be donated by the University plus any/all services, insurance, and operating costs.
Donations can be tailored to meet your tax, or philanthropy strategies, and range from a one-time or a multi-year donation commitment, the net commitment will apply to the 60% threshold.
Once we hit the 60% threshold, we would then ask you to complete your commitment.

Bringing community sport to UCalgary
