SCOTT MCKENNA
Q: What years did you play as a Dino?
SM: 2003 - 2007
Q: What position did you play?
SM: Wide Receiver
Q: What is your favourite memory of your time with the Dinos?
SM: My favourite memory has got to be the team workouts, even though they were so early it was great to get together and work hard towards something.
Q: Have you been involved in football in any capacity since you graduated?
SM: Since I've finished with the Dinos I've played some indoor arena football, just a rec league, as well as some outdoor flag football in the city during the summer.
Q: What are you doing now?
SM: As for what I'm doing now, I left Canada on January 1 of this year. I arranged to finish my last semester of university at the University of Wollongong in Australia. Before arriving there in late February I travelled through Fiji, New Zealand, and other parts of Australia. I then finished my final semester in Wollongong concluding in June 2009. Since then I've travelled more throughout Australia, as well as parts of Indonesia, Thailand and I am currently working as a PADI Scuba Divemaster on Pulau Perhentian Kecil in Malaysia. I'll be leaving here soon to head somewhere else, where I'm not too sure yet. I plan to return to Calgary to pursue a career using my civil engineering degree. I'll be looking to work in a sustainable field such as green building or water management. I'm not exactly sure where I'll end up.
Q: Do you have a family and/or kids now?
SM: No family yet
