This will be the second year for the Dinos Football's 5th Quarter Association's NFL Pool. The monies raised by the NFL Pool will go towards the University of Calgary Football Team's operating budget and support the Dinos Football’s 5th Quarter Association Scholarships if awarded. The NFL Pool is very simple, there is no skill involved, and the winners are completely random. Just buy a ticket for $20 and follow your teams each week of the NFL season.
Only 4,960 Tickets available. All prizes are cash and ONLY sold tickets are activated!
Each ticket will have a unique combination of 3 NFL Teams for all 17 NFL Regular Season weeks. Each week the total points scored by the 3 teams listed on sold tickets will be added up. The highest total points for that week wins first place, then second, etc.
Prizes will be awarded for the 17 weeks of the NFL season beginning September 14, 2010 and ending January 4, 2011. Total prize money of $19,890 (17 * $1,170) will be awarded on the Tuesday of each week as follows:

Selling agents are any members or associates of the Dinos Football’s 5th Quarter Association (“5th Quarter”) and the University of Calgary Football Team (“U of C Football”).
§ Each ticket has unique combination of 3 NFL teams per week, printed with the 3 teams per week selected for you (random luck). Maximum unique tickets is 4,960 (32 x 31 x 30) / 6 = 4,960. Only sold tickets are activated - each ticket sold prior to September 9th, 2010 will be activated for all 17 NFL weeks. Tickets are available after the season begins, but tickets are only activated on the first Tuesday after your date of purchase.
Each week: add total points scored for 3 teams listed on ticket that week. Ticket with highest “points for” wins that week's first prize, next highest determines subsequent prizes. In the event of a tie, use “points for” minus “points against” to determine a winner between all tied tickets. Any remaining ties will split the prize for that place. Any split prizes will have a minimum award of $20.
“Points for” is referred to the points scored in the actual NFL Football game by the teams on your ticket for that week
“Points against” is referred to the points scored in the actual NFL Football game by the opponent of the team on your ticket for that week
Monday night games will conclude the NFL week and results will be posted here each Tuesday morning during the 17 NFL weeks.
Weekly prizes will be awarded to the official ticket holder in our system as determined at time of ticket purchase
If one of 3 teams has a bye for the week, use the score from that team's previous game.
Results are generated by third party service provider called BCG Canada Inc. using specially designed software.
Cash prizes will be mailed to address on the returned ticket. If a winner cannot be located within 365 days of winning the prize money a request form will be submitted to the AGLC to have the funds donated to the Dinos Football’s 5th Quarter Association.
Tickets are restricted for sale to within Alberta only and shall not be sold to any one under the age of 18 years
Tickets sellers must advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under the age of 18 years on the ticket.
The minimum amount of tickets that must be sold before September 1, 2010 before requesting that raffle is cancelled: 1500

Members of the Dinos Football’s 5th Quarter Association are eligible to participate in the NFL Pool as winners are determined externally from the association.
Notice advising ticket purchasers, in the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, and that the licensed charity and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
