Q: What years did you play as a Dino?
JB: 1995-1997 drafted by the Stamps in 1998 and chose not to return to UofC
Q: What position did you play?
JB: Linebacker
Q: What is your favourite memory of your time with the Dinos?
JB:1995 Vanier Cup game. Also really enjoyed the 1995 game in Saskatoon in which we beat UofS 53-11
Q: Have you been involved in football in any capacity since you graduated?
JB: Coached Western Canada High School (D-Coordinator) 2000-2001, Dinos 2002 (D-line), Calgary Colts 2003-2004 (D-Coordinator)
Q: What are you doing now?
JB: Firefighter with the Calgary Fire Department
Q: Do you have a family and/or kids now?
JB: I am married to Christine Beamer a Kinesiology Alumni and we have two children Luke (5 y/o) and Kyla (1 1/2)
Q: Is there anything else you would like to share with other alumni?
JB: 2009 marked the first time the Calgary Fire Department put a Flag Football team into the World Police Fire Games, which were held in Vancouver. I was the captain of the team that won the Silver medal. Other Alumni on that team were Greg Heise, Roger Reinson, James Dusyk, John Judge, Chris Webber, John Kalin & Steve Cassley. We are also keeping our team together and will be traveling to New York to compete in 2011 at the games.
